What is the closest beach to Kona Airport?

Kikaua Beach (Kukio) is about 10 minutes south, a tiny calm cove with low bacteria risk. Kua Bay (Manini owali) is 15 minutes south with beautiful white sand. Pine Trees Beach is 10 minutes south, a local spot.

How far is Hapuna Beach from Kona Airport?

Hapuna Beach is about 25-30 minutes north of KOA. It is consistently rated one of the best beaches in the world with excellent water quality.

Yes. Several excellent beaches are within 10-20 minutes of KOA. The Kohala Coast beaches north and south of the airport have consistently good water quality. Kua Bay and Kikaua Beach are the closest quality options.
