Small, crescent-shaped bay with exceptionally calm, clear water. The natural cove protection makes it ideal for young children. Sea turtles frequent the bay and are often visible from shore. Excellent snorkeling at the rocky edges even for beginners.
Exactly what the name promises. A fringing reef creates an ultra-shallow, calm lagoon perfect for babies and toddlers. One of the only Maui beaches suitable for children too young to handle real ocean waves.
The gold standard for Maui family beaches. Lifeguards on duty, restrooms, showers, playground, and parking. Calm enough for children most of the year. The middle Kamaole park has the best combination of facilities and beach access.
